Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst/Manager to support the Health and Civilian sector, reporting to the Sr Manager of FP&A. You will lead financial reporting, forecasting, and invoicing, partnering with program teams and leadership to drive performance and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in government contracting finance, advanced Excel, and strong communication skills to distill complex data for diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline (8+ years experience).
• Government contracting experience; knowledge of CAS, FAR and GAAP.
• Experience developing financial planning and analysis cadence.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables, formulas and modeling.
• Strong communication and ability to distill complex financial data for stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret, combine, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Ability to balance competing priorities across internal and external functions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Division VP and program team to provide financial guidance for informed decision-making.
• Produce timely financial reporting including program P&L, variance analysis, and monthly reporting.
• Manage monthly rolling forecast and annual budget activities.
• Support Contract Vehicle PMO with advanced financial planning, invoicing, and subcontractor management.
• Assist with pricing exercises such as ROMS and Option Year repricing.
• Track and manage subcontractor spending and funding.
• Recommend process improvements to achieve financial goals.
• Oversee month-end close including accruals and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, and Procurement to support operations.
