Job summary

ResultsCX is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead planning, management reporting and cost governance for the services business. Expect hands-on Excel work, automated reporting from multiple data sources, and end-to-end ownership of the management reporting pack with commentary.

You will build and maintain Excel-based models, automate reports via Power Query/Pivot and VBA, and partner with IT for longer-term BI improvements while mentoring a small team.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in FP&A and management reporting in IT services or similar sectors.
• Expert-level Excel with Power Query, Power Pivot and VBA/macros.
• Track record of automated reporting across fragmented systems.
• Experience owning full management and board reporting at unit or company level.
• Strong writing skills for CFO/CEO and board summaries.
• Proven SG&A budgeting and cost‑saving delivery.
• Credible partnering with senior non-finance leaders.
• Deep understanding of services economics and unit economics.
• PowerPoint skills and ERP experience; Power BI/Tableau a plus.
• Experience mentoring a small analytics team while staying hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, management reporting and cost governance for the services business.
• Own monthly management reporting pack end to end with P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and KPIs.
• Write management commentary explaining performance, risks and actions.
• Consolidate inputs into a leadership narrative and challenge explanations.
• Deliver quarterly reviews and board/investor packs.
• Collaborate with accounting on month-end close to tie numbers.
• Develop Excel models and automate reporting from ERP, HRMS and trackers.
• Automate recurring reports using Power Query/Power Pivot and VBA.
• Design standardized templates and data mappings for consistency.
• Put checks and version controls to ensure accurate data.
• Identify data gaps and work with IT for long‑term BI fixes.
• Document reporting processes to ensure scalability.
• Lead planning and rolling forecasts using driver-based models.
• Mentor a team of 2–3 analysts and stay hands-on in modeling.
• Present directly to CFO, CEO, leadership team and board.
