Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation in Houston, TX, is seeking a Financial Analyst – FP&A to join our team to strengthen financial planning, analysis, and reporting capabilities. You will work with senior leaders to shape the company’s financial direction and deliver insights across the business.

You will develop and own financial models, support budgeting and forecasting, and produce management reports with variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or General Business Administration.
• At least 2 years related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building and owning financial models.
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting processes and SAP.
• Able to work in a complex, fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Background in finance, economics, math, or engineering.
• Preferred: Power Platform Apps and Right Angle; ET RM software.

Responsibilities

• Support business decision making with high-quality financial analysis.
• Assist with medium- and long-term financial planning.
• Prepare management reports and variance analyses.
• Develop forecasts and performance reports for leadership.
• Collaborate across Finance, Risk, and Commercial teams.
