Job summary

Par Pacific is seeking an Senior FP&A Analyst in Houston to perform detailed financial analyses of the company, its subsidiaries, and M&A opportunities. You will report to the FP&A Senior Manager and collaborate with the Strategy & Financial Planning team to deliver forecasts and budgets.

The role provides exposure to executives, hands-on training, and a high-energy, entrepreneurial culture with opportunities for impact and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics required.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a financial modeling environment.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Strong grasp of fundamental finance and accounting concepts preferred.
• Team player, flexible, and willing to pitch in wherever needed in a small team environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with cross-functional groups to develop earnings forecasts, budgets, and financial models.
• Weekly interactions with executives on earnings forecasting and planning.
• Assist in organizing monthly forecast and annual budget processes.
• Maintain and publish forecasting models for Par Pacific and subsidiaries.
• Analyze and present financial results and forecasts to executives and the Board.
• Create PowerPoint presentations and other reports for management and public markets.
• Support business initiatives including M&A opportunities and ad hoc analyses.
• Provide analytical support to senior management as needed.
