Job summary

Nautilus Solar Energy is seeking an FP&A Analyst to analyze, report, and forecast capital expenditure for projects placed in service and under development. The role is remote, with less than 10% travel, and reports to the FP&A Manager.

You will liaise with Construction, M&A, Capital Markets, Accounting, Community Solar, Legal, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and budgeting. A college degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred and strong Excel is required.

Qualifications

• College degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects on different timelines.
• Working knowledge of Excel, NetSuite, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple teams to consolidate input for forecasting.
• Prepare monthly capex budget vs. actual and variance analysis with commentary.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and project planning.
• Develop and improve current FP&A systems and processes.
• Prepare materials for liquidity meetings and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Identify opportunities to automate FP&A processes using AI/LLM tools.
• Prepare materials for actuals vs modeled cash flows for operating portfolios.
• Handle ad-hoc responsibilities/projects.
