Are you a financial whiz with a passion for logistics and supply chain? We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Analyst - 3PL to join our team on a permanent, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis for our third-party logistics (3PL) operations. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and are proficient in data mining and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

As an FP&A Analyst - 3PL, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting complex financial analysis to determine present and future performance.
• Developing, maintaining, and distributing ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.
• Preparing profit and loss models, balance sheets, and other management reports, using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and other financial systems.
• Creating, maintaining, and improving financial reports that track key business metrics.
• Providing recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections.
• Collaborating with supply chain and operations teams in managing 3PL relationships and improving cost efficiencies.
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and company policies.
• Performing data mining and analysis to aid in business decision making.

Qualifications

To be considered for the FP&A Analyst - 3PL role, you must have:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
• Proven experience with data mining and advanced Excel, including complex formulas and Excel modeling.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, general ledger functions, and financial statements.
• Experience with third-party logistics (3PL), distribution centers, and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data and complex information in an understandable way.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
