Job summary

Wedoe Search Group is seeking a Staff / Founding Software Engineer to join a remote, full-time team building a fast-growing B2B SaaS product. You will influence product direction, architecture decisions, and engineering culture from day one, with ownership of meaningful technical areas and high-impact projects.

You’ll work closely with founders and customers to shape scalable systems, expand capabilities across the stack, and mentor engineers while balancing speed, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend and systems architecture skills with the ability to work across the stack.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment with significant ownership.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity without heavy processes.

Responsibilities

• Own major areas of the product from architecture through production.
• Design and build scalable, reliable systems used by enterprise customers.
• Work directly with founders, product, and customers to turn complex problems into simple products.
• Make key architectural and technology decisions as the platform scales.
• Build new product capabilities across the stack.
• Help establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
• Mentor other engineers and influence future engineering hires.
• Move quickly while balancing speed, scalability, and technical quality.
