Job summary

Hispanic Access Foundation is seeking a Foundation Relations Officer to lead cultivation, growth, and stewardship of institutional foundation partnerships that advance our mission and impact. This externally focused role reports to the Chief Development Officer and centers on building trust with donors while translating program outcomes into compelling investment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated success in foundation fundraising, including securing and renewing institutional grants.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to translate programs into funding cases.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and relationships.
• Experience working across programs, finance, communications, and executive leadership.
• Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of foundation partners with cultivation, renewal, and expansion strategies.
• Drive new partnerships by converting outreach into meetings, proposals, and funding relationships.
• Lead proposal strategy and narratives aligned with donor priorities and Theory of Change.
• Develop funder briefs and engagement plans to support cultivation and pipeline growth.
• Collaborate with program, finance, communications, and leadership to shape donor materials.
• Maintain foundation records in Salesforce and monitor performance metrics.
