Job summary

Red Cell Partners, LLC is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a stealth National Security incubation. You will embed with federal and national-security customers, translating mission needs into production-ready software across the stack.

You’ll own delivery from prototype to production in secure environments, build AI-enabled integrations, and collaborate with product, security, and customer teams to ensure reliability and auditable workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with production-quality systems.
• Experience with backend engineering, distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, or applied AI/ML systems.
• Strong technical communication with engineers, product teams, executives, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with federal and national-security customers to understand mission workflows and constraints.
• Build and deploy AI-enabled applications, agents, integrations, and workflow automation in secure environments.
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements, implementation plans and product feedback.
