Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions Inc. is recruiting for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work with U.S. military and government operators, deploying software across aircraft, maritime platforms, drones, and field hardware.

You will be embedded with end users, supporting live deployments in challenging environments and translating operator needs into production-ready solutions. This role blends full-stack engineering with field operations and hardware integration to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

1–7 years of hands-on full-stack software engineering or forward deployed engineering.
Proficiency in Golang and React.
Strong system design and distributed systems troubleshooting ability.
Willingness to travel 50% domestically and internationally.
U.S. Secret security clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities

Embed directly with U.S. military and government customers to support command-and-control systems in live operational environments.
Deploy and integrate software across aircraft, maritime platforms, drones, and field hardware.
Troubleshoot distributed systems under pressure in the field, performing rapid break-fix diagnosis and resolution.
Gather requirements directly from operators and translate them into production-ready solutions.
Rapidly develop, test, and ship software in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments.
Collaborate with software, hardware, and product engineering teams to drive mission success.
Travel to military installations, customer sites, and field exercises domestically and internationally.
