Job summary

Propelus is a remote-first healthcare IT company enabling compliant workforce management across health systems. The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) role embeds in the post-sales team to translate customer needs into configurable, code-backed solutions within the Immuware platform.

You will lead technical sessions, build integrations, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver outcomes that reduce risk and improve operations for nurses, managers, and compliance professionals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role handling client resolutions.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and healthcare IT is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to write scripts and small features.
• Not billable Professional Services; focus on customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead regular technical working sessions with customers to address evolving needs.
• Configure, script, and write code to solve customer needs (workflow setup, rule-building, integrations).
• Document designs in Notion and update live items in Jira to ensure repeatability.
• Generalize fixes into reusable templates, decision trees, or product improvements.
• Serve as the technical counterpart to CSMs on customer calls and guide customers to outcomes.
• Write clear, scoped bug reports and feature requests for engineering.
