Catapult Solutions Group seeks a Resident Engineer with FortiGate AWS expertise for a 12-month, fully remote engagement. You’ll be the hands-on technical lead for a large security transformation, building FortiManager/FAZ/FGT in AWS and migrating from Cisco FTD across regions.

You will plan cutovers, decommission legacy firewalls, and work closely with cloud, network, and security teams to deliver a centrally managed security architecture while aligning with PST hours.

Qualifications

• Proven FortiGate in AWS deployment experience.
• Strong AWS networking knowledge and regional cutovers.
• Experience with Transit Gateway and Network Firewall.
• Experience migrating firewalls and decommissioning.
• Cisco FTD familiarity.
• Willingness to work PST hours.

Responsabilités

• Build and configure FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer in AWS.
• Provision FortiGate VM cutovers across six AWS regions.
• Decommission legacy Cisco FTD and migrate to Fortinet.
• Coordinate with client teams to plan change windows.
• Lead security architecture improvements in AWS.
