Job summary

Buxton Consulting in the Bay Area seeks a Security Cloud Network Architect with AWS to lead advanced network security and cloud automation. The role requires hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewall, F5 LTM/GTM, and WAF, plus strong AWS cloud skills and automation using Ansible, CloudFormation or Terraform.

This is a 12+ month engagement (May extend to 48+ months) for a local candidate willing to work on W2 in hybrid mode. Applicants should live near the Bay Area to accommodate hybrid work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise deploying and securing networks with Palo Alto, F5 LTM/GTM, and WAF.
• Deep AWS cloud architecture experience and solutions design.
• Automation of infrastructure using Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Must hold AWS Solutions Architect and CCNP certifications.
