Job summary

Debut Biotech is seeking a proactive sales development coordinator to source and qualify brand partnerships for our formulation division in the beauty sector. This top-of-funnel role focuses on outbound outreach, research, and scheduling qualified introductions for the Commercial Formulation Sales team.

You will map decision-makers, craft personalized outreach, and maintain follow-ups, using Monday.com to track progress in a fast-paced, hybrid setting in San Diego.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in business development coordination or sales/account support in beauty – B2B preferred.
• Experience in beauty, personal care, cosmetics, or ingredients is a strong plus.
• Proven outbound prospecting or cold outreach with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-volume outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, phone to find new beauty brands.
• Research and build target lists of prospective accounts seeking custom formulation.
• Map decision makers within target orgs (R&D, product, marketing, exec) for entry.
• Craft personalized outreach that communicates Debut's value and start a conversation.
• Qualify inbound/outbound leads before passing to the sales team.
• Secure and schedule qualified introductory meetings with Formulation Sales.
• Maintain disciplined follow-up cadences to keep prospects warm.
• Track prospecting activity and outcomes in Monday.com CRM.
• Develop understanding of Debut's formulation/biotech platform and value.
• Collaborate with Formulation Sales to hand off qualified leads smoothly.
