Job summary

EFI Global is seeking a Structural Engineer for a remote forensic role. You will inspect structures, perform cause-and-origin analyses, and review code compliance while preparing thorough reports for diverse clients.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Professional Engineer license (New England state preferred). Strong project management, communication, and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one New England state; multi-state licensing preferred.
• Experience in failure analysis and forensic engineering is preferred.
• Familiarity with building envelope components and details; knowledge of codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assess complex structural failures and determine root causes.
• Deliver comprehensive engineering analyses to clients across diverse industries.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports understandable to non‑engineers; provide expert testimony as needed.
• Work remotely and collaboratively with EFI Global’s network of experts.
• Maintain billable hours and participate in professional development and knowledge sharing.
