Job summary

Secretariat is seeking a senior forensic investigations professional to support economic damages analyses and expert reporting for high‑stakes disputes. You will conduct multi‑disciplinary research, prepare damages models, and collaborate with experts, clients, and counsel across offices.

Ideal candidates bring 4–10 years in forensic accounting, CPA credentials, strong writing and analytics, and a willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or MBA.
• 4+ to 10 years of experience in economic damages and/or forensic accounting.
• CPA, CFF, CFA, CFE, ASA or ABV credentials (pursuing or held).
• Strong expert report writing skills and quantitative abilities.
• MS Office proficiency; SQL/R knowledge a plus.
• Willingness to travel <10%; English required; second language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct economic, valuation, financial, accounting, and industry research as needed.
• Analyze financial and non-financial information and report findings to team members; CapIQ experience is a plus.
• Prepare damages models and expert reports; independent work with staff and counsel.
• Assist with hearings, trials, and mediations; travel as needed.
• Manage day-to-day requirements of multiple engagements and related duties.
