Job summary
Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide forensic engineering services for insurance, legal, industrial and other clients. You will assess causes and origins of electrical failures and prepare formal reports, including expert testimony when required.
The role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating with other experts, and maintaining client relationships. Candidates must have a B.S.
Qualifications
- B.S. Electrical Engineering required.
- P.E. license is required.
- 2-10+ years of experience.
- Field experience is highly preferred.
- Depending on location, other licenses or certifications may be required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation.
Responsibilities
- Performs investigation and analysis within electrical engineering for claims and legal matters.
- Field investigations: determine cause/origin of electrical defects and failures.
- prepares oral and written reports documenting causes, extent of loss, and remediation.
- Manages multiple projects, coordinates with other experts, and supports timely client reports.
