Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a Food & Safety Manager based out of Clayton State University to support Georgia BOR accounts. The role travels up to 50% of the time to ensure conformance with food safety and safety protocols across campuses in Georgia.

You will oversee audits, training delivery, and corrective actions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive safety improvements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as food science, occupational safety, or environmental health.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in food safety with knowledge of workplace safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, FDA Food Code, OSHA, and related regulations.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure implementation of food safety programs across Collegiate Campuses in Georgia.
• Develop and deliver food safety training and ensure proper handling, storage, and processing of food products.
• Monitor internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement tasks.
• Ensure compliance with physical safety programs, OSHA regulations, and safety training delivery.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and HR to integrate safety programs and report metrics to leadership.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety program effectiveness and reduce risk.
