Job summary

The Law Offices of Robert S. Gitmeid & Assoc. PLLC seeks a full-time Associate Attorney to join our consumer protection practice. This remote role emphasizes drafting pleadings, memos, and complex filings while handling a heavy Florida-focused workload.

Ideal candidates are admitted in Florida with at least one year of law firm experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in LexisNexis. Travel for court appearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Superior organizational & time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload in Florida.
• Communicating with clients regarding their matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; reviewing and drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conducting legal research on contract law and other consumer law areas.
• Travel for in-court appearances may be required.
