Job summary

ReWorks Solutions is seeking a highly organized Construction Takeoff & Estimating Specialist to review flooring plans and prepare quantity takeoffs. You will identify flooring scope, measure quantities and contribute precise data to estimates, primarily using PlanSwift or a comparable takeoff tool.

This remote role supports our US-based operations. You will work independently to review drawings, ensure accuracy, and maintain thorough documentation for verification and bid support.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience completing flooring takeoffs.
• Ability to independently read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
• Strong understanding of flooring scope and quantity measurement.
• Experience using PlanSwift or comparable takeoff software.
• Access to suitable takeoff software and tools to perform the work.
• Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage work independently.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and clarify missing information.
• Clear written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural, construction and flooring plans to understand project requirements.
• Interpret drawings, dimensions, legends, specifications and notes.
• Identify areas and spaces requiring flooring installation and determine flooring scope.
• Perform detailed flooring quantity takeoffs and calculate quantities for different materials.
• Prepare accurate quantity summaries and supporting documentation for estimates.
• Flag discrepancies, scope gaps or assumptions needing clarification.
• Maintain organized digital project files and takeoff records.
