Job summary

Inspire Interiors in Phoenix seeks a Flooring Estimator who can produce accurate estimates for residential projects. You will review architectural plans, perform material and labor takeoffs, and assemble bid packages for flooring, showers, countertops, and related surfaces.

Using RFMS, Excel, and builder documentation, you will create drawings and selection documents, coordinate with vendors and the internal team, and ensure bids are complete and submitted on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of residential flooring estimating experience.
• Expert in Excel; proficient with bid templates.
• Experience reading architectural plans and specs.
• Knowledge of RFMS or flooring takeoff software.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Download and review architectural plans, specs, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed takeoffs and enter measurements for material and labor.
• Apply current costs to develop accurate project estimates.
• Create Excel-based bid templates and proposals for submissions.
• Prepare selection documents for flooring and countertops.
• Prepare shower and tub line drawings for bids.
• Use RFMS and Inspire estimating processes consistently.
• Communicate with vendors and builders to clarify scope.
• Review bids for accuracy before submission.
