Job summary

Cimarron Inc. is seeking experienced Flight Software Developers to join a key program supporting human spaceflight.

This fully remote role offers occasional travel and preference for Centennial, CO-based candidates to facilitate in-person meetings and lab access. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with C++, Python, embedded systems, Linux, and software testing, and holds a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen, with alcohol testing.
• 5+ years of experience with C++, Python, embedded systems, hardware/software integration, simulations, and Linux.
• Experience with object-oriented design and automated software tests.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and modify flight software for launch vehicles and human spaceflight.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum team to support requirements, design, implementation, test, integration, and verification.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to guide software solutions.
• Write and perform unit tests on software changes.
• Conduct software peer reviews.
• Develop and run integration tests.
• Support embedded systems testing, hardware/software integration, and hardware-in-the-loop simulations.
