Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the security product experience across detection, alerting, investigation, triage, search, and AI-assisted workflows. You will work with product, engineering, UX research and other designers to translate complex SOC workflows into clear, trustworthy experiences.

Remote-first role across time zones; 5+ years designing complex B2B software for security practitioners, with a strong Figma toolkit and a track record in design systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing complex B2B software or enterprise platforms for technical users.
• Security background in product design, security operations, threat detection, or related discipline.
• Ability to translate noisy signals, high-consequence decisions, and tight timelines into clear UX.
• Strong product thinking with ability to simplify complex workflows without oversimplifying.
• Experience designing AI-assisted, agentic, or conversational interfaces.
• Expert Figma skills including advanced prototyping and documentation.
• Proven experience contributing to design systems and scalable patterns.
• Understanding of AI tools and AI UX interaction models.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering in iterative environments.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design from framing problems to implementation.
• Design workflows for detection creation, alert review, investigation, triage, search pivots, and enrichment.
• Apply security judgment to evidence, provenance, and risk in designs.
• Create AI-assisted, agentic experiences with clear intent and user control.
• Contribute to Cribl design system with reusable components and tokens.
• Work in Figma for exploration, prototyping, and handoff.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and other designers to ensure feasibility and accessibility.
• Share work early through critiques and working sessions.
• Prioritize opportunities using research and product evidence.
