Cribl is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the security product experience across detection, alerting, investigation, triage, and AI-assisted workflows. You will turn complex SOC workflows into clear, trustworthy experiences and collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX Research, and other designers across the Cribl platform.

We value a genuine security background and strong design systems expertise, with remote-first teamwork across time zones.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience designing complex B2B software or enterprise platforms for technical users.
• Security background in product design, security operations, threat detection, incident response, or related discipline.
• Understanding security practitioners’ realities under time pressure and high-consequence decisions.
• Strong product thinking and interaction-design skills; simplify complex workflows without oversimplifying.
• Experience designing AI-assisted, agentic, conversational, or emerging interaction models.
• Expert Figma skills with advanced prototyping and documentation; design systems involvement.
• Knowledge of AI tools/AI UX interaction models; designs that preserve user understanding, control, and trust.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering in iterative environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with incomplete information.
• Portfolio with case studies showing role, process, decisions, collaboration, and outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end design from problem framing and research through interaction design, prototyping, validation, and implementation.
• Design workflows for detection creation/management, alert review, investigation, triage, search pivots, threat coverage, normalization, and enrichment.
• Apply security judgment to evidence, provenance, confidence, severity, permissions, auditability, and risk.
• Design AI-assisted experiences that clarify intent, context, sources, capabilities, uncertainty, and user approval.
• Contribute to Cribl's design system and reusable components for broader value.
• Work in Figma for exploration, prototyping, documentation, collaboration, and handoff.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs and designers to support feasibility, accessibility, resilience, and high-fidelity implementation.
• Share work early through critiques and working sessions; give/receive constructive feedback.
• Use research/product evidence to prioritize opportunities and improve workflows.
• Communicate design rationale and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical partners.
