Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Security Platform Engineering group. You will lead the architecture for cryptographic infrastructure, including the Tier-0 Multi-Party Computation engine that secures assets and ensures global regulatory compliance from our Israel office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building highly available, distributed systems.
• Deep domain expertise in applied cryptography, with KMS/HSM experience and MPC preferred.
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, C++, or Rust; Golang preferred.
• Experience operating Tier-0 or critical infrastructure with emphasis on security, resilience and low latency.
• Experience leading a team's technical strategy and architecture for large-scale projects in regulated environments.

• Define technical strategies with a multi-quarter horizon for cryptographic solutions.
