Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support a major program and construction management team delivering a large, complex industrial infrastructure project. The role requires coordinating schedules across engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, startup, and closeout, with heavy emphasis on Primavera P6.

Remote work is allowed in the first year; after that, relocation or commuting distance to Little Rock, AR is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of construction-scheduling experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules for large industrial/infrastructure projects.
• Experience reviewing contractor schedules and performing critical-path and delay analyses.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and its reporting capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of critical-path methodology, schedule logic, float analysis, baselines, progress measurement, forecasting, and schedule controls.
• Ability to identify schedule deficiencies, performance trends, delays, and practical recovery options.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, update, and analyze detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate schedule information across engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, startup, and closeout.
• Establish activity coding, calendars, logic, sequencing, milestones, constraints, and progress-measurement requirements.
• Review contractor baseline schedules, updates, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and schedule narratives.
• Track actual progress against baselines and verify status with engineering, construction, procurement, and field personnel.
• Prepare schedule reports, milestone summaries, variance analyses, and executive briefings.
• Participate in progress meetings and schedule reviews; promote consistent scheduling practices.
