Job summary

AlphaGov seeks a Regional Workforce Development Consultant to lead a major regional workforce strategy study, translating labor-market evidence and stakeholder input into practical priorities and implementation recommendations.

The role is remote-first with travel to client sites as required, and involves coordinating with public-sector partners, educators, and employers to inform proposals and funding priorities. This is a project-based engagement under consideration for contract award.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading workforce development strategies.
• Strong capability in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Experience working with workforce boards, economic-development orgs, education systems, or public agencies.
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator; remote-first with travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional workforce strategy study from design through findings and recommendations.
• Analyze labor-market, industry, demographics, education, and programs data.
• Facilitate interviews, focus groups, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
• Assess current workforce programs, delivery capacity, partnerships, and performance measures.
• Develop a practical strategy, roadmap, and presentation materials for decision-makers.
• Contribute specialist qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permitted.
