Job summary

Dragos, Inc. seeks a Manager, Product Security Engineering to lead the product security team while remaining an active security engineer.

This working-manager role blends people leadership with hands-on vulnerability discovery, certification work, and risk reduction across DISA STIG, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related regimes. You will mentor engineers, drive technical strategy, and coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and Sales Engineering to meet audits and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity or product security.
• 1-2+ years leading a security engineering team.
• Hands-on with security certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP or DISA STIG).
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud and on-premises security experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow the product security engineering team.
• Own certification and accreditation initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001, DISA STIG).
• Translate strategy into an executable road map and track progress.
• Remain hands-on with vulnerability remediation and security testing.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and Sales Engineering for audits.
• Report on certification posture and remediation SLAs.
• Establish evidence collection for audits and renewals.
• Foster a strong security-focused engineering community.
