The Director, Pharmacy Product Development leads end-to-end product execution from concept through launch and post-launch performance, overseeing two product managers and partnering with Technology, Pharmacy Operations, Compliance, Client Success, Clinical, and Analytics to deliver scalable, market-relevant offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience managing product managers or cross-functional delivery teams.
• Experience with healthcare, PBM, pharmacy operations, or related healthcare product portfolios.
• Demonstrated experience building business cases, launch plans, operating models, and post-launch performance reviews.
• Experience working with Technology teams using product requirements, user stories, release planning, or agile delivery methods.
• Strong understanding of compliance, operational readiness, and stakeholder governance in a regulated healthcare environment.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree such as MBA, PharmD, MPH, or related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the approved product roadmap across clinical and non-clinical products.
• Lead product development from concept through launch and post-launch performance review.
• Translate formulary strategy, utilization management strategy, care model design, and non-clinical product opportunities into clear, buildable requirements.
• Run stage-gate and go/no-go reviews with Clinical, Pharmacy Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Client Success.
• Ensure product launches meet operational, compliance, client readiness, and reporting requirements before release.
• Manage the product lifecycle for assigned products including discovery, requirements, implementation, enhancement, and sunset decisions.
