Own delivery of the approved product roadmap, including release sequencing, capacity planning, and trade‑off recommendations across clinical and non‑clinical product work.

Lead product development from concept through business case, build, launch, and post‑launch performance review.

Translate formulary strategy, utilization management strategy, care model design, and non‑clinical product opportunities into clear, buildable requirements with Technology and Operations.

Run stage‑gate and go/no-go reviews with Clinical, Pharmacy Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Client Success.

Ensure product launches meet operational, compliance, client readiness, and reporting requirements before release.

Product Management & Lifecycle Ownership

Manage the product lifecycle for assigned clinical and non‑clinical products, including discovery, requirements, implementation, enhancement, and sunset recommendations.

Set standards for product discovery, requirements documentation, backlog readiness, launch planning, and post‑launch measurement.

Own post‑launch performance reviews and recommend whether products should be iterated, scaled, paused, or sunset.

Partner with Analytics to define adoption, revenue, savings, operational, and clinical outcome measures before launch.

Maintain clear documentation of product scope, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and decision history.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Serve as the product delivery partner to Technology, Pharmacy Operations, Compliance, Client Success, Clinical, Analytics, Sales, and Underwriting.

Coordinate cross‑functional execution plans, dependencies, risks, and readiness activities for each product launch.

Partner with Technology on build sequencing, release planning, scope trade‑offs, and issue resolution.

Partner with Pharmacy Operations and Compliance to ensure product workflows are operationally sound and compliant.

Partner with Client Success and Sales to support product positioning, launch training, implementation guidance, and client feedback loops.

Market & Industry Awareness

Monitor market trends, client needs, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes that may affect clinical and non‑clinical product development.

Translate market and client feedback into product discovery inputs and roadmap recommendations for the VP, Product & Clinical Strategy.

Identify product gaps, operational constraints, and emerging opportunities that may require new build, enhancement, vendor partnership, or sunset decisions.

Leadership & Influence

Manage and develop two product managers: one focused on clinical products and one focused on non‑clinical product solutions.

Set expectations for product management discipline, requirements quality, launch readiness, stakeholder communication, and post‑launch accountability.

Lead cross‑functional teams through product discovery, build, launch, and optimization without relying solely on formal authority.

Communicate product status, risks, trade‑offs, and recommendations clearly to the VP, Product & Clinical Strategy and senior leadership.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Experience managing product managers or cross‑functional delivery teams preferred.

Experience with healthcare, PBM, pharmacy operations, clinical programs, patient access, or related healthcare product portfolios.
