Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a Property Claims Adjuster to handle low-to mid-level commercial first-party property claims from assignment through resolution. You will investigate claims, evaluate coverage and damages, establish reserves, and negotiate settlements within authority.

You will also support subrogation efforts and guide junior adjusters as needed. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with a focus on timely, accurate claim handling in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Current state adjuster’s license.
• Experience handling commercial property or first-party claims preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust assigned claims to completion within approved authority.
• Review policies to determine coverage and damages.
• Investigate claims and determine subrogation potential.
• Maintain loss reserves and prepare loss reports for reinsurers.
