Job summary

Binance is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor in the United States to establish an independent internal audit program, perform risk-based audits, and report findings to the Board. You will design self-assessment mechanisms for AML/CFT, information security, asset custody, and trading fairness, and oversee audit scopes across multiple domains.

You will evaluate wallet management, security controls, and access governance, while coordinating with overseas teams in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Information Management, or related fields.
• 4+ years of internal audit experience in the financial or VASP industry.
• CIA, CFE, CISA, or FSC-recognized audit certification.
• Familiar with COSO and risk management principles.
• Data analysis capabilities; proficiency in audit tools to enhance audit efficiency.
• Understanding of virtual asset business characteristics, blockchain tech, and VASP framework.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin to coordinate with overseas partners.
• Strong independent judgment, logical analysis, and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish an independent internal audit system and annual audit plan.
• Design self-assessment and self-inspection mechanisms for AML/CFT, info security, asset custody, and trading fairness.
• Conduct routine audits and project-based reviews of internal controls.
• Review customer and proprietary asset segregation implementations.
• Audit listing/delisting review mechanisms and unfair trading prevention efficacy.
• Examine wallet management, information system security, and access controls.
• Issue improvement recommendations and track remediation progress.
• Conduct at least one information security management audit annually (including pen tests).
• Ensure audit personnel remain independent from AML/CFT roles.
• Regularly report audit results to the Board and Audit Committee.
