Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Associate to execute risk-based audits across global operations within Finance.

You’ll partner with first- and second-line stakeholders to identify control gaps, drive practical recommendations, and validate remediation while upholding independence. The role requires 5+ years in audit or risk, familiarity with AML/CFT/regulatory frameworks, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in internal or external audit or risk management.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in financial services including AML/CFT.
• Ability to manage multiple audit workstreams and deadlines.
• Professional certification (CIA/CPA/CFE) or progress toward one.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end operational and compliance audits, including scoping, planning, testing, and reporting.
• Own audit request tracking, open item management, and testing status updates.
• Identify control gaps and draft risk-based, actionable recommendations.
• Lead audit reporting with concise summaries for leadership and regulators.
• Validate remediation of prior findings and confirm closure readiness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Legal teams.
