Modern Family Law is seeking a hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney for our Petaluma office. The role emphasizes remote-first work with in-person court requirements, a 100-hour monthly billable target, and direct client contact.

You will draft documents, handle depositions and court appearances, and collaborate with a team to deliver favorable outcomes. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in Family Law, CA Bar admission, and strong writing/communication skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of Family Law experience.
• Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates.
• Active admission to the California State Bar.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of family law cases, such as divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
• Engage in direct client communications, draft legal documents, and manage depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while balancing multiple responsibilities.
