Job summary

Coinbase FinHub aims to secure every fund flow across fiat and crypto, setting reliability standards and controls for money movement at scale. You will own the multi-year strategy, drive real-time detection, and lead cross-functional efforts with Compliance, Risk, and Finance to safeguard all fund movements.

You will shape the system that stops unsafe movement, detects slips, and remediates while prioritizing governance, safety, and reliability in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of product management experience in money movement, payments infrastructure, or financial platforms at scale.
• Strategy ownership for large-scale money movement systems such as payment processing, transfers, ledgers, or reconciliation.
• Deep technical fluency in distributed systems, event streaming, idempotency, double-entry ledgering, reconciliation, and controls.
• Ability to set standards that other teams must meet across a regulated environment.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year vision and strategy for money movement reliability and controls across fiat and crypto.
• Build the controls infrastructure governing money movement—apply risk, compliance, and financial controls to each flow and verify outcomes.
• Drive real-time detection and end-to-end tracing across payment rails, blockchains, controls, and the ledger.
• Scale correctness through AI agents that propose controls and triage alerts before engineers act.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and product groups to establish control ownership and accountability for fund flows.
