Job summary

Topsail is building a new vertical to transform how construction projects move from bid to closeout. You will model the job from preconstruction to closeout, deploy agents that automate paperwork, and embed with general contractors and trades, on a remote-first team with occasional client-site work.

Qualifications

• Shipped a production system used by real users.
• Able to design data models and ontologies for business domains.
• Experience building agent-based solutions for real workflows.
• Comfortable with retrieval/embedding and hybrid search concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication for engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery with executives and frontline staff to define a ranked roadmap.
• Model the business ontology and establish the entities, relationships, and rules.
• Design and ship agents, retrieval systems, and automations on the foundation.
• Own evaluations and observability for what you ship and ensure adoption.
• Train client teams to sustain and extend what you built.
