Job summary

Celigo seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to partner with enterprise customers on agentic transformations, conducting workshops with executives to identify AI opportunities and co-create production-grade automation using AI Studio, MCP servers, and agentic workflows.

Embedded within customer environments, you’ll drive rapid adoption of Celigo’s AI capabilities, mentor developers, and contribute to proofs‑of‑concept, MVPs, and go‑live support across the full delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Total experience of 7+ years, with 4+ years in management/technical consulting with client engagement.
• 3+ years of AI development (frontier models, agentic services, MCP servers) with at least one production agent.
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, production-grade integration solutions.
• Experience across full delivery lifecycle (requirements through post-go-live support).
• Knowledge of Node.js, web services (SOAP/REST), and data formats (JSON, XML, EDI).
• Familiarity with enterprise apps (NetSuite, Salesforce, SAP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops and strategy sessions with executive teams and translate findings into design docs and project plans.
• Utilize Celigo’s AI capabilities—AI Studio, agentic workflows, MCP servers.
• Coordinate with customer data teams to understand data quality and transformation needs.
• Design prompts and develop AI agents to drive value for customers.
• Set up and maintain MCP servers for scalable runtime environments.
• Design and manage APIs with endpoints, auth, versioning, governance.
• Co-build with customers and partners, sharing best practices.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs moving to deployable solutions quickly.
• Perform end-to-end testing and validation of agentic solutions.
• Ensure best practices in performance, security, and governance.
• Provide go-live and ongoing support and knowledge transfer.
• Educate customers on Celigo platform’s agentic capabilities.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in design reviews.
