Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a dedicated Long-Haul Truck Driver to join a remote-first logistics team. You will operate safely on long-haul routes, plan and optimize daily deliveries, and communicate with remote dispatch using ELDs and GPS.

A valid CDL‑A, 3+ years OTR experience, and a clean driving record are required. You will work from a home-based setup with reliable internet, handling loading/unloading and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid CDL Class A license and verifiable over‑the‑road experience.
• Minimum 3 years of OTR driving experience with clean record in past 5 years.
• Proficient with GPS navigation, ELDs, and mobile communications.
• Able to load/unload cargo and manage physical tasks.
• Strong knowledge of DOT safety regs and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer for long-haul routes following laws and policies.
• Plan daily routes using GPS and routing software to optimize delivery times.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report issues via remote system.
• Load/unload freight with proper weight distribution and cargo care.
• Maintain logs of driving hours and deliveries using ELDs and systems.
• Communicate route status and delays with remote dispatch teams.
