Job summary

IPSY in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a highly creative Social Content Strategist to lead IPSY's presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms. This role blends beauty content creation, channel strategy and management, and trendspotting.

You'll own organic social channels, create and direct social-first content, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with objectives. Hybrid remote work with on-site collaboration is available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in social media and content creation within beauty, wellness, or lifestyle.
• Experience creating and managing content on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
• Proven track record managing or growing a brand's social presence.
• Strong video editing and storytelling with CapCut, Adobe Suite, or similar tools.
• Comfortable on camera and with platforms' unique requirements.

Responsibilities

• Concept, capture, and edit social-first content for IPSY channels across platforms.
• Serve as in-house beauty content creator when needed to connect with audiences.
• Lead social shoots and gather footage with Production for optimized content.
• Translate ideas into platform-tailored content and develop creative briefs.
• Own and manage IPSY’s Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts strategy.
• Develop platform-optimized content through original content and UGC briefs.
• Track KPIs, build weekly/monthly performance reports, and refine strategy.
• Collaborate with Creator Partnerships, Brand Ops, Creative, Production, Growth, Events.
• Maintain social content calendar and ensure brand voice and accuracy.
