Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to help build and operate platforms powering international stablecoins.

You will evaluate external APIs, develop backend services for issuance and operations, and contribute to growth systems across Retail, Exchange, Prime, and Custody products. As a backend engineer, you’ll own features from design to production, work with product managers and senior engineers, and ensure reliability, observability, and security in a fast-paced, remote-first

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production backend services in service-oriented architectures.
• Proficiency in Go and exposure to blockchain fundamentals.
• Experience evaluating, integrating, and operating third-party APIs.
• Ability to deliver features end-to-end with autonomy.
• High-quality, well-tested production code.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services powering stablecoin issuance and operations.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design to production.
• Support smart contracts for mint/burn and security review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features across Stablecoins UX, Growth, and Ecosystem.
• Improve reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
