Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer to help build backend services powering international stablecoins. You will evaluate external APIs, implement backend components, and contribute to issuance and operations across Retail, Exchange, Prime, and Custody products.

You’ll own features end-to-end, work with senior engineers on design and security, and focus on reliability, observability, and high-quality production code in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Go and experience with backend services.
• Solid understanding of blockchain basics (Ethereum or similar).
• Experience evaluating, integrating, and operating third-party APIs.
• Ability to deliver features end-to-end with autonomy from design to deployment.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and writing well-tested production code.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services powering stablecoin issuance, onboarding, and operations, including external API integrations.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design to production, collaborating with product managers, designers, and tech leads.
• Support and supervise smart contracts related to minting, burning, and safeguarding stablecoin supply with senior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver rewards, growth, and conversion features.
• Improve reliability and observability of the stablecoin platform through well-tested code and strong operational practices.
