Qualifications

• 8+ years in compliance, financial crimes, or risk assessment within a regulated financial institution, fintech, or consulting firm.
• Experience leading large-scale risk assessments and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in AML/CFT, sanctions, transaction monitoring, and risk management frameworks.
• Designing threat assessment frameworks and performing TM/CRS coverage across multi-entity environments.
• Ability to produce executive-quality written communications, data analysis, and governance materials; proficient in Excel and SQL.
• Crypto-forward mindset with understanding of crypto products and evolving ecosystem risks.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments, including inherent risk identification, control evaluation, residual risk determination, and articulation of key findings.
• Partner with MLROs, CCOs, and stakeholders to deliver globally coordinated risk outcomes.
• Produce risk assessment reports, executive summaries, and governance materials for senior leadership and regulators.
• Drive transaction monitoring and customer risk scoring coverage assessments and update geographic risk ratings.
• Develop a compliance threat assessment framework including governance, methodology, and documentation standards.
• Pioneer AI-powered automation to scale assessment workflows while maintaining human oversight.
