Job summary

Vest Financial is seeking an Accounting Associate to support daily financial operations within a fast-growing firm. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will handle GL reconciliation, AP/AR, and assist with monthly close while reinforcing internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years corporate accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, NetSuite experience, and advanced Excel skills. This remote-first environment offers flexible PTO and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience.
• Hands-on with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and daily bank activity.
• Assist month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Prepare workpapers for audits, tax filings, and regulatory reviews.
• Process vendor invoices and manage approvals and 1099 filings.
• Generate customer invoices and track outstanding balances.
• Collaborate to optimize financial systems and internal controls.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as requested.
