Job summary

GlobalLogic seeks an experienced QA Engineer to validate audio and streaming features on bench and in-vehicle, performing functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing while authoring new test cases and expanding suites as features evolve.

You will close coverage gaps, reproduce defects, capture logs with Wireshark, DLT, ADB and vehicle logs, and drive issues to closure in partnership with firmware, diagnostics, and product teams.

Qualifications

8+ years in a hands-on validation/QA engineering role on firmware or embedded products.
Validation depth: writing/executing test plans and closing coverage gaps.
Connectivity domain experience in Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, LTE/5G, GNSS, or vehicle networking.
Strong log triage and debugging, with Wireshark, DLT, ADB familiarity.

Responsibilities

Field triage experience: reproduce defects reported from production/field environments.
Python scripting to automate checks; comfortable on Linux/Ubuntu.
Defect-tracking discipline (JIRA/Confluence) and working in Agile release cycles.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE/Math or related field.
