Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Fire and Safety Administrator to lead fire safety, workplace safety, and environmental compliance across DGS-managed facilities. The role coordinates emergency preparedness, inspections, and training to ensure life, safety, and code compliance.

The candidate will supervise safety staff, work with capital projects, and ensure asbestos abatement activities are properly managed.

Competenze

• Must have a four-year degree or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Certifications/licenses required within first year: Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Supervisor/Contractor, 40-Hour Hazwopper, and Confined Space training.
• Minimum six years in office management or staff work with leadership/management responsibilities.
• Experience in safety inspections, hazard assessments, and corrective action planning.
• Experience in OSHA/UCC compliance, hazard communication, emergency preparedness, or workplace safety.
