Job summary

Leidos Inc is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join their National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC) team. This remote position requires expertise in Fire Life Safety and the ability to develop and analyze FLS codes and standards.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in federal agency programs, with a target salary between $110,000.00 and $124,550.00 based on experience. Up to 50% travel is expected within the central US, supporting FAA fire safety programs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant experience or 2+ years with a Master's degree.
• Ability to produce FLS designs and provide critical comments.
• Understand and train FLS concepts and applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop FLS code and standards analyses.
• Conduct fire protection surveys for critical facilities.
• Provide guidance on code applicability to FAA facilities.
