Job summary

MVB Financial Corp. is seeking a Fintech Data Analyst to support analytics and reporting for fintech partnerships.

You will evaluate deal economics, monitor client profitability, and help forecast NII, deposits, and fee revenue across gaming, acquiring, issuing, BaaS and payments, collaborating with Sales, Account Management, Finance, and senior leadership. The role can be based remotely within the United States with opportunities for cross-functional impact and leadership-facing deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Approximately 2–3 years in financial analysis, FP&A, banking, or similar data role.
• Strong Excel skills (SUMIFS, pivot tables) and financial modeling ability.
• Familiarity with banking, payments or fintech dynamics is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
• High attention to detail and accuracy for financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support fintech partnerships finance analytics and reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models for deals and client profitability.
• Perform scenario analysis, evaluate onboarding economics, and inform structuring.
• Monitor profitability post-launch and advise pricing adjustments.
• Coordinate with Sales, Account Management, Finance, and leadership.
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly fintech performance reporting and board materials.
• Maintain rolling forecasts for NII and deposits; support close activities.
