Job summary

21X AG is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with fintech, DLT, and trading and settlement experience for a strategic US initiative. You will translate regulatory and business needs into technical requirements for platform development, coordinating across product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams.

The role involves requirements engineering, process analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with market regulations and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Requirements Engineer.
• Background in fintech, DLT, trading and settlement, trading platforms, digital assets, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks.
• Exposure to US financial regulations or securities authorities (e.g., the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, etc.).
• Experience documenting requirements using structured methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum / Kanban).
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Elicit, structure, and document business and technical requirements.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear and actionable specifications.
• Produce structured requirement documentation including functional specifications and user stories.
• Ensure requirement traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Analyze current workflows and system processes.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance operational and system performance.
• Act as the interface between product management, engineering, compliance, and operations teams.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and changes.
• Collaborate with system architects and engineering teams to validate technical feasibility.
• Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement clarification.
• Assist in defining project scope, timelines, and milestones.
• Maintain project documentation including status reports, risk registers, and implementation artefacts.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between project stakeholders.
