Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC is seeking a FinOps Specialist to support cloud‑financial management for government clients. This remote role requires ability to obtain a Public Trust and offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, and generous PTO.

The successful candidate will analyze cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and GCP; develop chargeback/showback models; deliver biweekly dashboards; and partner with engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, CS, IS, or related field.
• 3+ years in cloud financial management or FinOps.
• Experience with cloud-cost-management tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing, CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, or similar.
• Experience developing chargeback/showback models in multi-team environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing cloud-cost analysis across AWS, Azure, and GCP to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Develop and maintain chargeback/showback models allocating cloud costs to business units or cost centers.
• Build biweekly dashboards and reports reflecting cloud-spend trends, variances, and forecasts.
• Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to leadership and finance stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps to implement cost-saving recommendations.
