BairesDev is hiring a FinOps Engineer to optimize cloud spending and maximize business value from cloud investments. You will provide cost visibility and implement strategies to eliminate waste while improving financial accountability for cloud infrastructure.

The role involves building cost allocation models, identifying savings opportunities, and collaborating with engineering and finance to forecast and budget. This is a 100% remote position with compensation in USD or local currency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Financial Management, FinOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Proven expertise in optimizing cloud spending and building cost allocation models.
• Experience with cloud cost management tools such as CloudHealth, Kubecost, or AWS Cost Explorer.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain cost allocation models to provide transparency into cloud spend across teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities by uncovering architectural waste and underutilized resources.
• Implement and govern cloud financial policies using tools like CloudHealth, Kubecost, and AWS Cost Explorer.
• Collaborate with engineering and finance to forecast and budget accurately.
• Monitor and report on cloud efficiency metrics to drive data-driven decisions.
